These Terms govern your use of the MemorialReel iOS app (“the app”). By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What the app does
MemorialReel lets you assemble photos and video clips into a slideshow video on your device and upload that video to your own YouTube channel via your Google account. The app processes your media on your device; we operate no servers that receive your media.
Your account and content
- You are responsible for the Google/YouTube account you connect and for keeping it secure.
- You retain all rights to the photos, videos, and content you create with the app. We claim no ownership of your content.
- You are responsible for the content you upload and for complying with the YouTube Terms of Service and community guidelines when you publish to your channel.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and to upload only content you have the right to use. Do not use the app to create or distribute content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or violates YouTube’s policies. You must not misuse or attempt to disrupt the app or the Google/YouTube APIs it relies on.
Third-party services
The app relies on Google and YouTube. Your use of those services is governed by Google’s Terms and the YouTube Terms of Service. Uploads consume your account’s YouTube API quota, which is set by Google and may limit how many videos you can upload in a day.
Availability and changes
We provide the app “as is” and may update, change, or discontinue features over time. We may update these Terms as the app evolves; material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss of content or issues with third-party services. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of your original photos and videos.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time and remove its access to your account. You can disconnect your YouTube account and delete the app’s local data from within the app’s Settings.
